Because there is no place like home, your care should help you stay there.
At Caring With Dignity, we believe good home care should fit around the person receiving it, not the other way around.
We provide compassionate domiciliary care for adults who want to remain living safely and comfortably in their own homes. Our approach is built around listening to what each person wants, understanding their routines and preferences, and providing the support they actually need.
For us, person-centred care means more than following a care plan. It means understanding that the small things matter too. Maybe you prefer your breakfast at a particular time, want to wash later in the day rather than first thing in the morning, or need someone to pick up a bottle of milk while they’re out. These details are part of what makes your home feel like home, and we believe your care should respect them.
With more than 45 years of combined experience, our team brings knowledge and experience to every aspect of the care we provide. But just as importantly, we bring a genuine commitment to listening, responding, and treating every person with dignity.
Our values aren’t simply words on a page. They shape how we recruit, how we deliver care, and how we build relationships with the people we support.
We provide the kind of support you want,
rather than assuming we know what’s
best for you.
We take the time to hear what you say
and make sure your views are reflected
in your care.
We help you remain in the place that
holds your memories, routines, and
sense of comfort.
With more than 45 years of experience between us, we saw an opportunity to create a domiciliary care company built on old-fashioned values. Here, care is driven by what a person needs, not by rigid time frames and structures.
Sometimes the support someone needs isn’t neatly defined by a care task.
It might mean stopping to pick up a bottle of milk. Letting out the cat. Bringing in the newspaper. Walking the dog. Or simply taking a few extra moments to make sure someone is comfortable and coping before leaving.
These things may seem small, but they can make a significant difference to someone’s ability to remain safely and happily at home.
Our purpose is to provide the practical and personal support people need to stay where they want to be, surrounded by the people, possessions, and memories that matter to them.
As Caring With Dignity grows, our commitment remains the same: listen to the individual, respect their choices, and provide care around the life they want to live.

Our team is an important part of what makes Caring With Dignity different. We look for people who are kind, caring, compassionate, thoughtful, and enthusiastic, alongside the experience and skills needed to provide high-quality care.

Sandrea has nearly 40 years of experience as a senior manager in the caring field. She has worked for both the NHS managing departments and Social Care. Sandrea and Lyn are Co-founders of Caring with Dignity Limited, they set up the business to provide an old-fashioned domiciliary care service, where the support was designed around the needs of the individual. Sandrea enjoys kayaking and reading.
Care Co-ordinator
James has had a varied career. This has included 20+ years in the Territorial’s for the RAF, where he trained and worked as a field medic, which has included some active service. James has switched his career from his nursing pathway to caring and feels the interaction and engagement often associated with caring, suits his skills set better, as he prefers the social interaction with people more so than using nursing skills. His hobbies include an avid interest in horses and photography.
Deputy Manager
Beverley brings extensive experience, knowledge, and qualifications to her role at Caring With Dignity. Having previously worked as a manager of children’s services and in community care, she brings a broad understanding of care and support to the team.
Above all, Beverley is deeply client-focused. She understands the importance of listening to the person receiving care and making sure their needs, preferences, and wishes remain at the centre of the support they receive.
Senior Carer
Catherine commenced her career in Kenya where she trained as an accountant. She moved from this to customer support, resolving customers issues. It is here where she came into her own, enjoying working with people and finding rapid satisfactory solutions for the issues people were facing. Next, she moved to the field of care. Catherine has now worked in this field for 4 years. Because of her professional approach, empathy and problem-solving skills, she quickly moved to the position of Senior Carer. Catherine loves days out exploring local history sites and spending time with her dog.
Business Manager
Lyn has over 38 years’ experience as a manager in the field of retail. She has an eye for detail and figures and is the HR and finance lead for us, overseeing all matter relating to finance, such as invoicing. She has been working in the care sector for over 5 years now and believes the skills she learnt from retail are transferrable and help with the smooth running of our organisation. Her hobbies include keeping fit and spending time with her cats.
At our most recent inspection, the Care Quality Commission rated Caring with Dignity as Requires Improvement. We take this seriously. The inspection identified areas where some of our processes needed to be tighter, and we have put changes in place to address every point raised. We’re proud of the care our team gives every day, and we look forward to showing the CQC the progress we’ve made at our next inspection. You can read the full report on the CQC website. If you’d like to talk it through, we’re always happy to answer your questions.
